Description;
Franco Zefferino Sbarro was born in 1939 in Apuglia Italy the son of a farmer. At an early age he demonstrated an acute aptitude for all mechanical things like scooters and motorbikes. He finished his schooling in Lecce and then transferred to Neuchatel in 1957 where he eventually bought a small garage. It was here in Switzerland that he met Georges Filipinetti the owner of the renowned Scuderia Filipinetti. He worked for some years as team manager until he left in 1968 opening ACA Atelier de Construction Automobile in the same year. He immediately made his mark by constructing excellent replicas of cars such as Lola T70 BMW 328 and even a Bugatti Royale.
